We supply this UV rated solar PV wire by the 100m roll or in 5m increments.

We stock this wire in red and black outer sheath colours.

Continuous rating is typically about 32 amp is free air or 24 amp if in insulation or protected in plastic conduit.

This robust and corrosion resistant wire has many applications in renewable energy applications. You may need to buy some if installing our SHP-triplex pump. If you need a larger wire, you can run 2 or more runs resulting 4,8,12, etc. mm2 conductor size. Hence it can also be used in hydro turbine applications that often require long runs. We also stock large aluminium wire for those long run ELV hydro jobs, such wire can provide cost effective cabling (laying on the ground) in NZ under ELV rules.

Solar PV wire due to the large volumes made is very cost effective and durable in outside applications.

This wire can be used with MC4 type connectors to give waterproof joints.

    Note: if wiring your own system in NZ, you can do so for voltages up to 120 VDC (ELV) if you have suitable knowledge and experience. For LV systems (>120 VDC) this is prescribed electrical work and it must be done by a licenced electrician.
