42 Pole is for Standard React Pumps up to 160m of head. 42 pole stators work with type 2+ rotors.

36 Pole is for High Power React Pumps above 160m of head. 36 pole stators work with type 4 rotors.

These motors also work with the PowerSpout SHP-TX Pumps.
